Parliament Pub Midtown

August 29th, 2010 No comments

Located at 120 S. 31st Street, at Midtown Crossing, is Parliament Pub. An English inspired bar with a rock-n-roll theme, Parliament Pub is spacious and relaxed place to lounge and kick-back after a long day or week. Parliament has a large selection of specialty cocktails, beers and wines. It also has an outdoor patio with one of the best views of Turner Park and the downtown Omaha skyline. Sheltered from the Dodge Street and Farnam Street traffic by the Midtown Crossing building designs, Parliament has a casual, enjoyable pace that is hard to find in the heart of the city. Sit on the patio in the evening and watch children play in Turner Park as the sun slips behind the buildings to the West and the beautiful midtown lights flicker on; it’s enchanting. Happy Motoring!

Two Rivers State Park

September 19th, 2009 No comments

If you enjoy fishing, camping, biking or hiking, or are just looking for a nature area with great picnic facilities for a family outing, Two Rivers State Park is the place to visit. Tucked between the Platte and Elkhorn Rivers, the park boasts several lakes (320 acres) filled with trout. Catching them is easy and fun for both kids and adults. Take highway 92 west of Omaha to 264th Street and turn south at the flashing light at Venice Nebraska. Having auto repair work done? Ask your mechanic to receive the damaged or worn parts they replace. Doing so helps you ensure quality, and that high quality, original manufacturer parts are being used. Happy Motoring!
