HuHot Mongolian Grill is a restaurant chain with franchises in 12 states, including 4 Nebraska locations. HuHot’s has a restaurant in Lincoln, and 3 in Omaha. One is located at 990 S. 72nd Street, another at 710 N. 114th Street, and another at 17660 Wright Street (177th & Center). HuHot is a fun eating experience for the entire family. Guests get to choose their own meats, noodles, vegetables and sauces for grilling by HuHot’s professional cooks. The sauces include mild traditional Mongolian flavors such as Teriyaki, garlic oil, sesame oil, and sweet and sour. Bold Asian and hot flavors are also available, including Thai peanut, ginger, curry, chili oil, kung pao and Szechuan. HuHot is open for lunch and dinner, and their hours of operation may be found on HuHot’s website. My wife and I love this place. Give it a try and Happy Motoring!

Every since Chu’s Chop Suey House closed it doors, my family has searched Omaha for an oriental restaurant that serves great Mandarin Chinese food. Panda House restaurant, located at 14459 West Center Road, and downtown at 301 S. 16th, comes close. With great soups and appetizers, an assortment of fried rice, low mein and chow mein dishes – the Panda House has a large menu selection for carry out or dine in. Share Moo Goo Gai Pan and Pepper Steak family style, with all the trimmings. Open daily at 11:00 a.m. for lunch and dinner. It’s a great place to eat. Happy Motoring!

PF Changs Restaurant

PF Changs China Bistro is located at 10150 California Street, on the west side of Westroads Shopping Center. The restaurant’s menu includes numerous Chinese dishes, from all regions of the country. The lettuce wraps are delicious, and an enjoyable way to get the meal started. Sample the hot and spicy mustard and soy sauces. Enjoy the meal “family style”, sharing multiple dishes with others dining with you. The Kung Pao Chicken and the Orange Peel Chicken are two of our family favorites. Happy Motoring!
