Located at 13655 California Street is Biaggi’s Italian Restaurant. A chain, with locations in 12 states, Biaggi’s provides casual, relaxed dining in an elegant setting. Biaggi’s always starts your meal with a serving of Italian breads with fresh olive oil and parmesan cheese. The menu has a variety of appetizers, salads, and main courses from which to choose. The three cheese Lasagna Bolognese was delicious. Others in our group had the Seared Sea Bass and the Eggplant Parmesan. We were impressed with both the portion sizes as well as the presentation of the food. Biaggi’s has a large selection of modestly priced wines. Biaggi’s is open daily for lunch and dinner, and takes reservations for private events. Happy Motoring!

Located at 6920 Pacific Street is Caniglia’s Venice Inn. Established in 1957 by Eli Caniglia and his brothers, the Venice Inn is one of Omaha’s most well-known and popular Italian steakhouses. The menu contains several Caniglia family recipes from Sicily and Italy, including chicken and eggplant parmigiana, pesto linguini, and baked manicotti. The Venice Inn also serves great pizzas, prime rib, steaks, chops, chicken and sea food dishes. The restaurant has several banquet rooms that will host party sizes from 20 to 175 for all occasions. Our office management and staff have often held our Christmas celebrations at the Venice Inn. We’ve never been disappointed or walked away hungry. Caniglia’s serves lunch Tuesday through Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 pm., and dinner Tuesday through Sunday after 5:00 p.m. Give it a try and Buon Appetito!

Located at 1108 Howard Street, in the heart of Omaha’s Old Market, is Vivace Restaurant. Voted Omaha’s Best Italian Restaurant in 2008 by the Reader’s Choice “Best of the Big O”, Vivace has always been one of my personal favorites, for its combination of great food and great atmosphere. With exposed brick interior walls, lots of heavy oak wood furnishings and elegant table linens, Vivace has a classy and inviting appeal to its guests. The Tilapia and the Lasagna Bolognese are both very good dinner choices, and their menu includes other contemporary Italian fare. Vivace has an extensive selection of Italian wines, unrivaled in Omaha. Vivace has a party room that will handle group sizes up to 30 people, and they are open 7 days a week, serving lunch and dinner. Try their Sunday Brunch. Benvenuto e felice motoring!

Pasta Amore is an excellent Italian Restaurant, located at 11027 Prairie Brook Road in Rockbrook Shopping Center, just south of 108th and Center. Past Amore’s master chef, Leo Fascianella, received his training in Italy, and knows how to prepare meals in authentic style. Our family thinks Past Amore’s lasagna is the best in Omaha. The portions are huge and presentation is excellent. There is also a large wine list to choose from. Open for lunch Monday through Friday and for dinner Monday through Saturday; closed Sundays. Located at 3001 S 32nd Ave., just 4 blocks west of the I-480 and Martha street exit, Lo Sole Mio is recognized as one of the best, authentic Italian restaurants in Omaha. You’ll be delighted with generous portions and prompt service, in a great ambiance. Start with fresh breads with olive oil, roasted garlic, Parmesan cheese, tomato and basil; and finish with Lo Sole’s famous Tiramisu and Cannolis. Everything on the menu is delicious. The air cleaner in your car or truck should be changed at least every 3,000 miles. Changing your air filter is easy.
