Located at 120 Regency Parkway inside Regency Court, next to Borsheim’s Jewelry, is Bonefish Grill. Serving fresh seafood from around world, prepared wood grilled, Bonefish is a delightful upscale dining experience. The first Bonefish Grill opened in St. Petersburg, Florida in 2000, and they now have locations in 28 states. In 2010 Bonefish was rated #1 by Zagat in its survey of full-service chains. When our family visited Bonefish, we had the Wild Alaskan Salmon with Mango Rum sauce. The service was excellent and the drink and wine selection strong. In addition to seafood, Bonefish has marvelous grilled steaks, chops and chicken entrees on their menu. Bonefish is open daily at 4:00 p.m., and reservations are strongly suggested because it is always busy. Happy Motoring!

The Drover

Located at 2121 S. 73rd Street, one block north of Mercy Road on 73rd Street, is one our family’s favorite Omaha steak houses, the Drover. The Drover is well known for its famous “Whiskey Steaks”, that use the Drover’s original and secret whiskey marinade. The inside of the restaurant is dimly lit with rustic dark wood decor. The Drover has several small alcoves with tables and seating, providing privacy for small groups. The Drover has a small cocktail lounge, as well as a small buffet salad bar with traditional, but somewhat limited, salad selections. The salad plates are “chilled.” The Drover has several seafood menu items on their menu, and they are open Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for lunch, and nightly for dinner after 5 p.m. This Spring after the potholes are filled, have your mechanic check your vehicle’s front-end alignment and wheel balance, it’s been a hard Winter. Texas Roadhouse

Located at 7302 Olson Drive in Papillion, Texas Roadhouse restaurant, has some of the juiciest steaks in the area. A part of the Shadow Lake Towne Center , Texas Roadhouse has an energetic, wild west atmosphere. Pick your own steak for grilling, throw peanuts on the floor, hoot and holler with your servers. Did you know that your fuel costs are increased 1% for every 2 lbs/sq. inch. of pressure that your tires are under inflated? Keep them inflated and Happy Motoring!
