Cracker Barrel Restaurant
Located at 9409 S. 142nd Street, near Sapp Brothers Truck Stop and their huge coffee pot, is the Cracker Barrel Old Country Store and Restaurant. The Cracker Barrel features country favorites like meat loaf, chicken and dumplings, as well as distinctively southern dishes such as cornbread, pinto beans, fried okra and turnip greens. The country store has numerous hand-crafted items for sale; items which make great gifts! The hard candy displays, wooden crates, barrels and other early American decor make you feel like you’ve stepped into 1900′s. Sit on the front porch in a rocker and visit for a spell.
